Biography
Ms. Jasmine Qiu is a paralegal working for the litigation team at DGW Kramer LLP.
Ms. Qiu graduated cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Business Studies. Throughout her college career, Ms. Qiu was involved in various management consulting case competitions and some of the most selective business clubs affiliated with NYU Stern.
Prior to joining DGW Kramer LLP, Ms. Qiu had internship experiences in both the financial and legal sectors. During her first two years at NYU, Ms. Qiu worked for China Merchants Bank as an investment banking intern, where she performed financial analysis and due diligence on various deals including but not limited to IPO listing, merger and acquisition, and privatization. Ms. Qiu also worked as a summer assistant at Hong Kong Stock Exchange. There, she conducted in-depth market research that aimed to develop potential financial derivates. After deciding to pursue a legal career, Ms. Qiu worked as a legal intern at a Chinese law firm, assisting the litigation team on commercial and civil lawsuits. Additionally, Ms. Qiu worked as a legal assistant at the New York Office of Zhong Lun Law Firm during her senior year.
Being immersed in both the Chinese and American cultures, Ms. Qiu has a multicultural background that allows her to work with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds. Ms. Qiu is trilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and is also fluent in Japanese and Korean.
