Biography
Mr. Levin-Epstein serves as of counsel to the firm’s Litigation Department.
His core focus is on the litigation of complex litigation matters, contract disputes, unfair competition and restrictive covenants, bankruptcy disputes, judgment enforcement, and asset recovery. He has represented clients in prominent matters relating to adversary proceeding litigation, international arbitrations, pre- and post-judgment enforcement, cross-border judgment enforcement, shareholder disputes, and litigation involving substantial claims.
Mr. Levin-Epstein has lectured at the Foreign and International Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers’ Association on the topic of the enforcement of foreign money judgments. His presentation provided a practical overview for practitioners on the procedural and technical entry of the money judgment and service in accordance with the relevant procedural rules, the identification and location of the judgment debtor’s assets, and the enforcement of the judgment against the judgment debtor’s real and personal property in accordance with the relevant legal rules.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levin-Epstein was part of the Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy practices at international and national law firms where he represented constituents in complex litigation and transactional matters. He also served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Alan H.W. Shiff in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut (Bridgeport Division).
