Biography
Ms. Ronghua Guan’s practice focuses on complex cross-border litigation, intellectual property disputes, cross-border insolvency, judgment enforcement, asset recovery, and business and commercial litigation. Since beginning her litigation focus in 2018, Ms. Guan has gained extensive experience in business and commercial litigation, consumer financial services, intellectual property, securities, employment (both individual and class actions), professional negligence, insurance, and the False Claims Act matters. She has amassed a wealth of experience in various phases of litigation and post-judgment enforcement, making meaningful impacts on her cases.
Her prior experience includes working at a national AmLaw 100 firm, a large plaintiff firm in Southern California, and a prestigious mid-size firm in Missouri. She also interned at U-Haul International, Inc. and the Centre for Law and Democracy in Canada.

- In a commercial litigation case against a mail marketing company, she obtained dismissal based on a Rule 12(b) motion for lack of jurisdiction.
- In a professional negligence case involving claims over $20 million, she secured summary judgment in favor of the legal professionals.
- In an employment discrimination and retaliation case, she obtained summary judgment for the employer.
- In a 42 U.S. Code § 1983 claim against an employer receiving government funding, she achieved dismissal with a Rule 12(b) motion in federal court.
- In cases alleging violations of the California Homeowner Bill of Rights and other servicing claims against mortgage owners and servicers, she successfully obtained demurrers in favor of the loan owners and servicers.
- In a mortgage servicing violation case, she successfully obtained summary judgment for the mortgage servicer.
